Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 medium fresh jalapeño, seeds removed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Wash and chop the jalapeño, removing seeds for less heat.
  2. In the blender or food processor, combine mayonnaise, chopped jalapeño, white vinegar, lime juice, minced garlic, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary (add more sugar for sweetness or more jalapeño for heat).
  5. Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
