Ingredients:

  • 12 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 12 slices of bacon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off the jalapeños and remove the seeds and membranes (wear gloves if sensitive to spice).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and smoked paprika. Mix until smooth.
  4. Use a pastry bag or spoon to fill each jalapeño with the cheese mixture.
  5. Take a slice of bacon and wrap it around each stuffed jalapeño, securing with toothpicks if needed.
  6. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños tender.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.
