Ingredients:
- 6 slices white bread
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crispy
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 oz (115g) sliced cooked turkey breast
- 4 oz (115g) sliced cooked chicken breast
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- If not using pre-cooked bacon, cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
- Toast the bread slices to your preferred level of doneness.
- Spread mayonnaise on two slices of toasted bread. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, salt, pepper, and bacon.
- Place another slice of toasted bread on top of the bacon. Spread mayonnaise on it. Add the turkey slices and chicken slices.
- Top with the remaining slice of toasted bread (plain side up).
- Insert toothpicks into each quarter of the sandwich to hold it together. Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich diagonally into two or four triangles.
- Arrange sandwich triangles on plates with pickle spears and potato chips. Serve your club sandwich.
