Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60 ml) Blanco Tequila
- 1.5 oz (45 ml) Fresh Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.75 oz (22 ml) Orange Liqueur (Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- 0.5 oz (15 ml) Agave Nectar (Optional)
- Ice
- Lime wedge and Pineapple wedge, for garnish
- Salt (Optional, for rimming)
Instructions:
- If desired, salt the rim of your margarita glass. Run a lime wedge around the rim and dip the glass in salt.
- If using fresh pineapple, blend a slice of pineapple until smooth. Strain the pulp for clear juice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar (if using).
- Fill the shaker with ice. Close tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of pineapple. Serve immediately and enjoy your pineapple margarita cocktail!
