Ingredients:
- 6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced (about 1.5 kg)
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup (120g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup (130g) all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup (150g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Peel, core, and slice the apples. In a bowl, toss the apple slices with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread the apple mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Spread the topping evenly over the apple mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes or until the apples are bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Allow the crisp to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
