Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons (15 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the fresh orange juice and lime juice.
  2. Whisk in the olive oil and granulated sugar until well blended.
  3. Add the minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more cayenne for heat or additional sugar for sweetness if desired.
  5. If using, stir in the chopped cilantro for freshness.
  6. Use immediately or transfer to an airtight container for storage.
