- 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (15 g) granulated sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) black pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add the fresh orange juice and lime juice.
- Whisk in the olive oil and granulated sugar until well blended.
- Add the minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until all ingredients are combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more cayenne for heat or additional sugar for sweetness if desired.
- If using, stir in the chopped cilantro for freshness.
