Ingredients:
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (115g) sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
- 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
- Pour in the melted unsalted butter and stir with a fork until a shaggy, cohesive dough forms; stop stirring as soon as the flour disappears.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and use a rolling pin to flatten it into a rectangle approximately 1/8 inch (3mm) thick.
- Remove the top layer of parchment and use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to slice the dough into small squares.
- Slide the parchment onto a baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until the edges are deep golden brown.
