Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up the batter.
  5. Turn on the waffle cone maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  6. Pour batter onto the centre of the waffle cone maker, close the lid, and cook until golden brown (approximately 3-5 minutes).
  7. Carefully remove the waffle while hot and shape it around the cone-forming tool or parchment paper cone.
  8. Place shaped cones on a cooling rack and let them cool completely before serving or storing.
