Ingredients:
- 4 cups watermelon, seedless, cubed (about 1 small watermelon or 600g)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (30ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Cut the watermelon into cubes and remove any seeds.
- In a blender, combine watermelon, granulated sugar, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth, ensuring the sugar is fully dissolved.
- If a smoother texture is desired, pour the blended mixture through a strainer to remove any pulp.
- Transfer the mixture into a bowl and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Pour the chilled mixture into a freezer-safe container. Freeze for 2-4 hours, stirring every hour for the first 2 hours to ensure a smooth texture.
- Once frozen, scoop the sorbet into serving bowls or cups and enjoy!
